PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable electric saw with a cutting guide, which is suitably used for accurately and easily performing linear cutting even by an unskilled person. SOLUTION: A metallic flat plate having a guide groove is mounted on the under surface of a conventional portable electric saw, and a rail for linearly advancing an inserted electric saw in the guide groove is temporary fixed to a predetermined position on a raw material to be cut.
