<p>An OFDM receiver which can demodulate a received signal at high accuracy by eliminating the effect of multipath interference and eliminating the effect of the Rayleigh fading caused when the receiver moves at high speed. A transmission path estimation circuit (20) detects fading information based on a maximum delay time of multipath and a maximum Doppler shift value. When the maximum delay time of multipath is smaller than a threshold value (t) and the maximum Doppler shift value is equal to or greater than a threshold value (fd), a transmission path function is estimated by a frequency direction interpolation circuit (25) and a frequency direction interpolation circuit (29). In the case of a condition other than the above, the transmission path function is estimated by a time direction interpolation circuit (24) and the frequency direction interpolation circuit (29). A noise elimination filter (28) is provided between the frequency direction interpolation circuit (25) and the frequency direction interpolation circuit (29).</p> |
