<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery system for a vehicle further improved in reliability. <P>SOLUTION: The battery system for the vehicle comprises: integrated circuits 3A to 3N which are individually arranged so as to correspond to cell groups GB1 to GBN of a battery unit 9, respectively, inputted with terminal voltages of battery cells BC1 to BC4 in the corresponding cell groups GB1 to GBN, and measure the inputted terminal voltages; and signal transmission paths 52, 54 for connecting the integrated circuits 3A to 3N, or the integrated circuits 3A to 3N and an external circuit 20. Each of the integrated circuits 3A to 3N arranged at the respective cell groups GB1 to GBN comprises: a selection circuit which selects the terminal voltage of the battery cell being an object to be measured from the inputted terminal voltage; an A-D converter which analog-digital converts the terminal voltage selected by the selection circuit; an abnormality diagnosis circuit which diagnoses an abnormal state in the integrated circuit; and a communication circuit which transmits the terminal voltage which is analog-digital converted by the A-D converter, and the diagnosis result of the abnormality diagnosis circuit via the signal transmission paths 52, 54. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
