MEMORY CARD, ITS ACCESS METHOD, AND ACCESS SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an access method and an access system for a memory card to be used for data access between a machine and the memory card.

SOLUTION: In the access method of the memory card, it is checked whether a memory card uses a data storage format for simultaneously supporting two different operating system including a first prescribed operating system and a second prescribed operation system. When the memory card does not use the data storage format supporting the two preset operating systems, the machine is prohibited from accessing data in the memory card. A version value is stored in the memory card, wherein the version value is a value other than a predetermined version value. When the data storage format provides a start section for recording the virgin value and the version value is confirmed to be a value other than the preset version value, the second operating system determines the memory card to be inaccessible.
