METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING BUSH

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a bush having a smaller number of processes than the conventional manufacturing method of the bush and a bush manufactured by the method which has toughness not only on the surface thereof but also, in the intermediate layer thereof and high wear resistance on the inner surface and the outer surface thereof.

SOLUTION: The bush manufacturing method includes the processes of: heating a bush basic material with a high frequency-induction having 0.5-3 kHz frequency under condition of 0.5-3 kW/cm2electric power in 20 to 200 seconds or shift-heating the bush basic material at 2-10 m/sec feeding speed so that temperature of the outer and inner surfaces of the bush basic material reaches 800-920°C as a quenching transforming point temperature; quench-cooling the heated bush basic material to 30-130°C; tempering the bush basic material totally hardened with the quenching with the high frequency-induction having 0.5 kHz frequency; shift-quenching the outer and inner surfaces of the bush basic material with the high frequency-induction having 5-30 kHz frequency at 0.5-10 mm/sec shifting speed to form the intermediate layer.
