COMMUNICATION APPARATUS, NETWORK SYSTEM, AND VPN CONFIGURATION PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication apparatus, a network system and a VPN configuration program for achieving VPN connection easily even in the case that a manager does not know the network information of the other home network when a home network is VPN-connected with the other home network.

SOLUTION: A communication apparatus (a first communication apparatus 10) registered in a SIP server 3 is configured so that network information which is necessary for constructing a VPN tunnel by IPsec between the first communication apparatus and a second communication apparatus 20 registered in the SIP server 3 and set in a second home network 2 is acquired via the SIP server 3, and the VPN tunnel by IPsec between the first communication apparatus and the second communication apparatus 20 is constructed by utilizing network information set in a first home network 1 and the acquired network information set in the second home network 2.
