<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for performing authentication processing on a user, at a high speed. <P>SOLUTION: A communication controller 10 includes a plurality of ports for connections with a plurality of communications devices, a first database 50 which stores user IDs and authentication information for authenticating users in a correspondence state; a user database 57, which stores the user IDs and IP addresses of terminals of the users in a correspondence state; a user database update unit 460, which acquires a user ID of a terminal and an IP address imparted to the terminal from a connection management server 120 and registers them in the user database 57; a user identification unit which retrieves an IP address of the transmission source or transmission destination of communication data from the user database 57 to acquire a user ID; a retrieval circuit 30, which performs retrieval by referring to a record of the first database 50 corresponding to the acquired user ID; and a processing execution circuit 40 which transmits communication data for answering a result of authentication of the user to a request source according to a retrieved result. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
