PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress reduction in reliability of handwriting information or the like acquired from a handwriting information generating device in a terminal device.

SOLUTION: A code image printed on a medium is read by an infrared CMOS 63, and predetermined information is acquired from the code image in an image processing part 611 and a data processing part 612. Handwriting information related to the writing operation of a user onto a medium is generated in a handwriting information generating part 612d. A communication part 66 transmitting acquired predetermined information and/or handwriting information to the terminal device 50 in units of data groups of predetermined data length, transmits the predetermined information and/or handwriting information for every data group synchronously with image capture timing signals from the terminal device 50.
