<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring system capable of easily specifying a short-circuited location when a short circuit is generated in a monitoring terminal or a connecting location and smoothly performing data transmission between a monitoring controller with the other monitoring terminal even if a failure occurs. <P>SOLUTION: This monitoring system is equipped with a branch connector 40 for detachably attaching a temperature and humidity sensor 5 to a communication line 16. The branch connector can switch the sensor 5 so as to be connected to and disconnected from the communication line 16. A sensor server 2 performs data transmission with the sensor 5 by connecting the sensor 5 to the communication line 16 by the branch connector 40, and when it is determined that an abnormality has occurred in the sensor 5, the sensor server disconnects the sensor 5 from the communication line 16 by the branch connector 40. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
