<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a cost and improve an efficiency regarding a power converter with a switching element composed of a unipolar element using a wideband gap semiconductor. <P>SOLUTION: An inverter circuit (120) is configured so as to conduct a synchronous commutation by the six switching elements (130). The switching elements (130) are composed of the unipolar elements (SiC MOSFETs in this case) using the wideband gap semiconductors.
