PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device that achieves improvement in flexibility for use of a detector in positioning in a navigation device using output of three detectors such as a receiver for receiving a GPS signal, a wheel speed sensor for detecting a wheel speed, and a gyro sensor for detecting an angular velocity about the gravity axis while having a vehicle-side unit arranged on the vehicle side and an attachment/detachment unit freely attachably/detachably arranged to the vehicle. SOLUTION: The navigation device has a base unit freely fixable to a vehicle and a front panel unit freely attachable/detachable to/from the base unit. The navigation device has three sensors (detectors) such as a receiver for receiving a GPS signal, a wheel speed sensor for detecting a wheel speed, and a gyro sensor for detecting an angular velocity about the gravity axis. A control program for a microcomputer of the front panel unit is composed of a graphical user interface function or the like that executes a designated function by providing a menu screen for displaying a menu and a touch panel overlapped thereon on a display, and a platform function that at least specifies processing time with respect to the function.
