PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hinge which can prevent the deformation of a member for vertically moving a pivot shaft 17, and which enhances durability enabling the constantly smooth opening/closing of a door D. SOLUTION: In this hinge, a hinge body 10 is equipped with a guide cylinder 15 into which the pivot shaft 17 is to be inserted in an axially movable manner; a locking portion 15b is provided at the axial end of the guide cylinder 15; the pivot shaft 17 is provided with a portion 32 to be locked, which can be engaged with/disengaged from the locking portion 15b provided in the guide cylinder 15; and the locking portion 15b of the guide cylinder 15 and the portion 32 of the pivot shaft 17 are engaged with each other in a state in which the pivot shaft 17 is inserted into a bearing 7.
