PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide leg-supporting stockings exerting supporting effects only by being worn. SOLUTION: The leg-supporting stocking is knitted so as to have a face fabric part and a back fabric part: wherein thermally adhesive thread 6 having a melting point lower than that of back thread 5 is inserted into the back thread 5 forming the lining fabric of a stocking main body in an area where a portion from the heel part to the ankle part is wrapped up from outside while making the thermally adhesive thread 6 come along the back thread 5; the thermally adhesive thread 6 is heated from the back surface side of the stocking main body so as to prevent the stocking from stretching in the area where the portion ranging from the heel part to the ankle part is wrapped up from outside.
