PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pellet in which a resin component is sufficiently impregnated into a long fiber so as to yield a molded article excellent in mechanical strength and toughness, and to provide a method for producing such pellets, and a molded article obtained by molding the pellets. SOLUTION: The pellet for cycloolefin polymer molding includes a cycloolefin polymer and a long fiber. The molded article is a cycloolefin polymer molded article obtained by molding such pellets. The pellets are produced by the production method including a step of producing a cycloolefin polymer-containing continuous fiber by impregnating a polymerizable composition comprising a cycloolefin monomer and a metathesis polymerization catalyst into a continuous fiber and polymerizing the composition, and a step of cutting the cycloolefin polymer-containing continuous fiber to a predetermined length.
