PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxygen absorbing resin composition having such a high oxygen absorption speed as to realize a deoxidized state in a shorter period of time. SOLUTION: The oxygen absorbing resin composition includes an oxidizable thermoplastic resin and a transition metal catalyst, wherein the transition metal catalyst contains an amine ligand.
