PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the color development of pearl luster by heightening coordination and dispersibility of a pearl powder in a cosmetic containing an aqueous component. SOLUTION: The milky cosmetic having pearl luster is obtained based on the discovery that the coordination and the dispersibility of the pearl powder are heightened by the combination of a carboxyvinyl polymer which may be modified with an alkyl, and/or a salt thereof, with polysaccharides using fucose as a constituent sugar in a cosmetic containing the aqueous component, and the cosmetic having the extremely improved color development of the pearl-like luster is obtained.
