PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extrusion die for extruding a biodegradable material. SOLUTION: The extrusion die for extruding the biodegradable material comprises: a mandrel (30); an outer member (40) positioned near the mandrel; an extrusion orifice (5) between the mandrel and the outer member; a member in communication with at least one defining member of the extrusion orifice; a flow control device; and a positioning device. The member is capable of producing relative movement between the outer member and the mandrel, and the relative movement has a component transverse to an extrusion direction of biodegradable material through the extrusion orifice. The flow control device controls flow of biodegradable material through the extrusion die. The positioning device positions the outer member and the mandrel relative to each other.
