<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a slit of a lip is opened by a writing core which is most important for writing, that is, sliding friction is generated between the writing core and the lip every time when the writing core is projected and retracted, and sliding scratches and shape distortion are generated on the slit of the lip by the sliding friction, which result in the closing defect of the slit, and the problem that the sliding friction abrades or distorts the writing core causing scratched writing. <P>SOLUTION: A writing utensil has a writing body capable of moving back and forth in an axial cylinder, and a seal lid for sealing a writing core of the writing body from the outside atmosphere working with the back and forth movement of the writing body wherein open and close action of the seal lid is activated by a protrusion provided at the front peripheral surface of the writing body, and an engaging part between the protrusion and the seal lid is provided at a non-sealing part of the seal lid. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
