<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antiglare film which has excellent antiglare property, can prevent the reflection of a view and dazzling on a display surface even in a high-definition display device, has high weather resistance and surface hardness, and ensures improved workability and safety in the production of the antiglare film. <P>SOLUTION: The antiglare film uses a lactone ring-containing resin film as a transparent base film and has an antiglare layer disposed on the base film. A liquid composition comprising a polymer, a curable resin precursor and a solvent is applied on the transparent base film, the solvent is evaporated, a phase separation structure is formed by spinodal decomposition, and the curable resin precursor is cured by light irradiation to form a surface uneven structure, whereby the resulting antiglare layer isotropically transmits incident light and scatters it, a scattering angle showing a maximum value of scattered light intensity is 0.1-10°, and the antiglare layer has a total light transmittance of 70-100%. A transmission image visibility measured with an image clarity measuring instrument using an optical comb of 0.5 nm width is 70-100%, haze is controlled to a range of 20-50%, and the antiglare film is obtained which has high weather resistance and high surface hardness in addition to excellent antiglare property and ensures improved workability and safety in the production and process of the film. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
