PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability of a pneumatic tire by preventing strength reduction due to the temperature rise of the tire caused in a part. SOLUTION: A side-reinforced run flat tire 1 is provided, wherein side-reinforcing rubber 4B comprises a rubber composition containing carbon fibers having an average length of 0.5-50μm and the side-reinforcing rubber 4B has a thickness of 6-13 mm.
