PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new pivot-hinge mechanism for rotatably mounting a door body to a frame body. SOLUTION: The pivot-hinge mechanism 3 for an opening device 1 for rotatably supporting a door body 2 to a frame body 5 has an opening 55 formed in an upper frame 51 while a pivot shaft 21 for being inserted into the upper frame 51 is provided in the door body 2. At a position M for supporting the pivot shaft 21 after completion of its installment, a front plate 36 as a support member for holding the pivot shaft 21 inserted in the opening 55 is attached to the upper frame 51 in the pivot-hinge mechanism 3.
