PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slit fitting for mounting a tile panel, for use in the mounting of the tile panel on a surface of a structure such as an architecture such as a building and a construction such as a tunnel, the tile panel using the slit fitting, and a tile panel mounting structure, which enable even the tile panel using a low-profile tile to be easily mounted and supported on the surface of the structure. SOLUTION: This slit fitting 2 for mounting the tile panel is used when the tile panel 1, in which many tiles 12 are stuck on the surface of a base plate 11, is mounted on the surface of the structure A such as the building and the construction. The slit fitting 2 is formed in an approximately U-shaped cross section of a size which allows it to be fitted to an edge of the base plate 11, and a slit hole 20 is provided in or near its U-shaped base 2a. Additionally, the edge of the base plate 11 is attached by being sandwiched between a pair of opposed pieces 2b and 2c of the U-shaped slit fitting 2, and the tile 12 is stuck on the surface of the base plate 11 in such a manner as to cover the one opposed piece 2c.
