PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently producing an olefin oxide from an olefin, oxygen, and hydrogen. SOLUTION: The method for producing the olefin oxide is characterized by reacting the olefin with the oxygen and the hydrogen in the liquid phase in the presence of a noble metal catalyst, prepared by supporting a noble metal on activated carbon obtained by heating the activated carbon at 250-1,000°C under a hydrogen atmosphere, and a titanosilicate catalyst.
