PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas sealing device by which gas sealing can be carried out in an air-tight form and by which the flow of inert gas is formed along the flow direction of a bulk material passing through the sealing section. SOLUTION: The gas sealing device (2) is fixed to the opening of a container (1) with which the bulk material should be filled up and has a tubular body (3) in a cross sectional configuration which accords substantially with the cross section of the opening in the container (1), a gas supplying section (10) and at least one gas outlet (8) connected to this gas supplying section. This gas sealing device (2) is equipped with means (5, 11, 12) which seal the openings of the container almost air-tightly in the lower part opening of the tubular body (3), this means can be used to control the flow rate of the bulk material and the inert gas introduced into the container and is composed so that the flow of the inert gas may flow in the same direction as the bulk material which flows into the container.
