PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a lid body stand stable near the place to be cleaned with the cleaning tool being locked and held, and to prevent the cleaning tool from dropping out or falling away during carrying or at the time of placing due to vibration caused therefrom. SOLUTION: The cleaning tool case includes a storing case A having an opening 3 through which the cleaning part 4A of the cleaning tool 4 can pass and a lid body 7 which freely opens and closes its opening 3. A liquid receiving portion 8 which can receive liquid dropping from the cleaning part 4A of the cleaning tool 4 is arranged in the lid body 7. An engaging retainer portion 19 having an engaging part 18 arranged projectingly in the bottom face of lid body 7 being freely pulled in and out and supporting on its insertion part so as to be freely swung, opened or closed, is formed on the storing case A. On the lid body 7, a handle 9 and a locking and holding means 10 is arranged. The locking and holding means 10 detachably locks and holds the handle 4B of the cleaning tool 4 which is being hanged with its movement to longitudinal and lateral directions regulated. A bottom face 8a and the engaging part 18 of liquid receiving portion 8 are formed into a leg part allowing the lid body 7 to stand by itself, in which the handle 4B of the cleaning tool 4 being locked and held by the lid body 7 is in the vertical or substantially vertical direction.
