PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable X-ray CT apparatus capable of reducing loads on power supply equipment. SOLUTION: The X-ray CT apparatus is provided with a capacitor part 23 for storing electric energy from a power source 50 and supplying the stored electric energy to an X-ray tube 11 in scanning, and a scan propriety determination part 38 for determining whether or not scan by a set scan condition is possible on the basis of the electric energy stored in the capacitor part 23. The scan propriety determination part 38 derives the maximum suppliable energy from the stored electric energy, derives estimated energy consumption when performing scan under the set scan condition and compares the size between them, for instance.
