PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold for die casting or injection casting capable of preventing casting fin spray with a simple means, damming the casting fin spray with a back-up structure of plural stages, and further simply and quickly finishing the repair even when bank parts are melted to loss. SOLUTION: A plurality of streaks of bank parts 21, 22, 23, which are raised from a PL plane 11 of a movable mold 10 (or a fixed mold) and the raised surface is plane processed, are formed by surrounding all or a part of a cavity 12, an air vent 13 and a runner 14 on the PL plane 11. The heights of the bank parts 21, 22, 23 are set so that a gap caused by the bank parts in the PL plane of the movable mold and the PL plane of the fixed mold has a size within the limit not generating the casting fin spray when the movable mold is overlapped on the fixed mold.
