PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television program recorder/reproducer which makes it possible for a user to reproduce the newest CM when a CM included in a recorded program is reproduced. SOLUTION: The type and version of a CM are recorded from CM information included in a program when a program is recorded, and not a CM included in a recorded program but a CM having a newest version in a receiver is reproduced when a recorded program is reproduced.
