PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a unit for cleaning a liquid droplet ejection head, which exhibits high cleaning effect. SOLUTION: The unit for cleaning the liquid droplet ejection head is characterized in that a cleaning nozzle has a double pipe structure composed of an inner pipe and an outer pipe, a cleaning liquid circulation space is formed between the inner pipe and the outer pipe, a cleaning liquid supply means is connected to the cleaning liquid circulation space, a waste liquid circulation space is formed inside the inner pipe, and a cleaning liquid discharge port is formed on the outside face of the bottom of the outer pipe in the cleaning liquid circulation space.
