PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article capable of absorbing urine from both front and back surfaces by holding absorbent bodies on both surfaces of a liquid impermeable sheet, absorbing and holding the absorbed urine without letting it pass through to the opposite surface, being used corresponding to the physique and using symptom of a wearer and preventing skin troubles, and to provide a bendable and deformable absorbent article further. SOLUTION: The absorbent article 1 is provided with the liquid impermeable sheet 3 and the absorbent bodies 5 disposed on both surfaces of the liquid impermeable sheet 3, and is used for absorbing body liquid or discharge. The absorbent bodies 5 are configured to absorb the body liquid or discharge of the wearer, and the liquid impermeable sheet 3 is configured as a so-called leakage prevention sheet for preventing the absorbed body liquid or discharge from permeating one or the other absorbent body 5.
