PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prime mover portion structure of a utility vehicle having a radiator with a dust cover net almost the entire surface of which can be capable of cleaned, and having an enhanced work performance by maintaining cooling effect of the radiator without disturbing an air-intake action. SOLUTION: The prime mover portion structure includes radiator covers 2 and 3 provided outside of a radiator 5 for cooling an engine 16 constituted of a net portion (net) 3 and a frame portion 2 of the net portion 3, a wind-shield plate 6 having a moving mechanism 23 capable of being linearly moved along the net portion 3 of the covers 2 and 3, and an air-intake port 60 provided to a stepped portion D between the frame portion 2 and the net portion 3 of the radiator covers for supplying external air to the radiator 5. Further, the mesh size of the net portion 3 is enlarged on the side of the air-intake port 60, while the mesh size on the opposite side is reduced. Because the wind-shield plate 6 can be moved over almost the entire surface of the net portion 3, almost the entire face of the net 3 can be cleaned. Because the air-intake port 60 is provided to the stepped portion D, an air-intake force does not decrease. Further, by increasing the mesh size of the net portion 3 on the side of the air-intake port 60, decrease in suction force of the external air can be prevented. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
