GAS DECOMPOSITION COMPONENT

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas decomposition component with a solid electrolyte which is improved in pinhole countermeasure in a wet state and durability while securing sufficiently high ion conductivity in the consideration of the application way peculiar to the gas decomposition component.

SOLUTION: The gas decomposition component includes a catalyst electrode layer 6 holding catalyst fine particles having a catalytic function, a counter electrode layer 7 pairing with the catalyst electrode layer, and an ion conductive solid electrolyte layer 11 sandwiched by the catalyst electrode layer and counter electrode layer. The solid electrolyte layer 11 has a perfluorocarbon-based ion exchanging high polymer molecule layer 5 containing numerous insulation particles 3 and continued to the catalyst electrode layer and counter electrode layer.
