PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous secondary battery having prevented cut or peeling off of an electrode plate, reduced dispersion of battery capacity, and improved life characteristic by forming a stress relaxation part having a curved surface where a positive current collector or a negative current collector continue in the length direction.

SOLUTION: The positive current collector 1 or the negative current collector 6 is elongated more than the elongation of a material of them when the tensile load in the length direction is applied by constituting the positive current collector 1 or the negative current collector 6 so as to have the stress relaxation part 10 comprising the curved surface continuing in the length direction.
