<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relay an optical signal with a high-speed operation without converting it into an electrical signal. <P>SOLUTION: This all-optical reproduction repeater 15 is provided with: an optical branching device 2 for branching a phase modulation light signal; an injection-locked laser 3 for outputting an optical signal including a carrier component in an optical phase modulation signal; an optical phase adjuster 4; an optical 180° hybrid 5 for combining an optical signal from the optical branching device 2 with an optical signal from the optical phase adjuster 4 with a delay of a prescribed phase; an all-optical reproduction repeater 20 for intensity modulated light for eliminating noise and the distortion of an intensity modulated light signal outputted from the optical 180° hybrid, an all-optical wavelength converter 25 for converting the wavelength of an optical signal outputted from the all-optical reproduction repeater 20 for intensity modulated light and outputting it as an optical signal with a different wavelength; and an all-optical phase modulator 21 for generating a phase modulated light signal corresponding to the intensity of the intensity modulated light signal outputted from the all-optical wavelength converter 25. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
