<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an unevenness forming device capable of suppressing increase of power consumption of a device body, and keeping an uneven shape using a simple structure and to provide an information input device. <P>SOLUTION: This unevenness formation part (unevenness forming device) 30 is provided with: a deformation guide layer 34 deformed into a recessed or projecting shape, and capable of keeping the recessed or projecting shape; and a deformation force transmission layer 32 jointed to the deformation guide layer 34, and providing, to the deformation guide layer 34, force in changing over one side of the recessed and projecting shapes of the deformation guide layer 34 to the other-side shape. Since the shape is always kept in the recessed or projecting shape by the deformation guide layer 34 itself, the shape of a deformation member (deformation force provision member) can be kept, without requiring electric power, or the like, unlike the case where the binding force for keeping the shape of the deformation member (deformation force providing member) is to be continuously generated by using, for instance, electric power.
