<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus for recording a natural moving image by suppressing sharp luminance variation. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus includes: an exposure control means for calculating a luminance value of the whole field image to perform exposure control according to the luminance value; and an exposure change means for selecting an exposure value from a preliminarily held appropriate exposure conversion table based on a stroboscopic light emission amount received from an external device via a communication means for performing communication with the external device equipped with a stroboscopic light emission means to change the exposure control of the exposure control means into exposure control by the selected exposure value, wherein the exposure change means calculates time from stroboscopic light emission timing to the next field based on the stroboscopic light emission timing received from the external device, and when exposure time set by change of the exposure control is equal to or more than the time from the stroboscopic light emission timing to the next field, changes the exposure control (#208→#210). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
