摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the loss of a circulating current between parallel circuits by reducing an imbalanced voltage between parallel circuits in armature windings having four parallel circuits applied to a dynamo-electric machine having 3-phase 2-pole 84 slots. SOLUTION: The armature windings of double-layer windings have 14 coils per pole per phase. Each phase belt of the windings has two parallel circuits and is stored in a slot 13 provided in a stacked iron core. Each parallel circuit has series coils. Each series coil has two coil pieces, an upper coil strip 15 and a lower coil strip 16 connected to each other at a connection side coil end 19a and an opposite connection side coil end 19b. When the relative positions of the upper and lower coil strips of one phase belt are represented by positions counted from the pole center, half of each parallel circuit is connected so as to put the upper and lower coil strips at the first, fourth, sixth, seventh, ninth, twelfth, and fourteenth positions from the pole center. The remaining half of each parallel circuit is connected so as to put the upper and lower coil strips at the second, third, fifth, eighth, tenth, eleventh, and thirteenth positions from the pole center.
