PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method for installing a manhole frame for constructing a pavement quickly and adjusting the height of the manhole frame and a road surface easily on a paved road constituted by a lower crushed stone layer and an upper paved layer. SOLUTION: This construction method comprises a process for exposing a manhole basic wall 1 and installing a temporary lid 3 on it, a process for forming the lower crushed stone layer 41 and the paved layer 42 on it constituting the paved road 4 on the temporary lid 3, a process for forming a working hole 43 passing through the crushed stone layer 41 from the paved layer 42 and reaching an engaging hole 31 by passing through them, a process for cutting the paved layer 42 in a predetermined region E into a cylindrical shape, a process for fitting a screw part 531 of a threaded rod 53 into a screw part 311 of the engaging hole 31 through the working hole 43 to prevent a pressing implement 5 from leaving a surface of the paved layer 42 and moving from the surface, a process for letting a pressing piece 522 provided on the pressing implement 5 advance toward the surface of the paved layer 42 in the predetermined region E to press and crush the paved layer 42, and a process for removing the crushed paved layer 42, the crushed stone layer 41 under it, and the temporary lid 3 and installing the manhole frame at a position having substantially the same height as that of the surface of the paved road on the manhole basic wall 1.
