PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a sintered hard hob where near-net shape molding is effectively realized, and reduction in the number of man-hour, reduction of cost regarding production equipment, raw materials or the like and reduction of term of work can be achieved. SOLUTION: In the method for producing a sintered hard hob composed of a sintered compact through a forming-sintering-working process in order of CIP (cold isostatic pressing) forming-sintering-finishing through a raw material regulation process in order of raw material blending-mixing/granulation-raw material completion, upon the CIP forming, press forming is performed in a state where the inner circumferential face of an inner tube 12 in a molding flask 10 for CIP forming is fitted with a cutting edge die 16 for cutting edge forming, and, upon the release of the forming pressure, the cutting die is separated from the inner tube, and is left on the side of the formed body 20A, and, after the release of the formed body, the cutting edge die is peeled from the formed body.
