PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a peptide having arthritogenicity, easily and stably inducing arthritis at an arbitrary timing by immunizing an animal compared with conventional models to use arthritis-specific antigen or autoantibody-inducing models. SOLUTION: Provided is an arthritogenic peptide containing an amino acid sequence expressed by formula (1): (in the formula, Ile is isoleucine; Phe is phenylalanine; Glu is glutamic acid; and N is an arbitrary amino acid residue).
