PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide contrast medium particles which have an average particle size suitable for being used for MRI and have high characteristics such as relaxation degree, and to provide a contrast medium using the same. SOLUTION: Provided are the contrast medium particles characterized by having an average particle size of >9 nm and≤15 nm, containing Fe and Pt, and having an average Fe content of≥35 atom%.
