The vehicle pneumatic tire comprises a profiled tire tread (1), a multi-layered belt (2), an inner layer (4), a single-layered carcass (3) guided around chafing cores and a bead profile in chafing areas, sidewalls (8), and a reinforcing profile (9) with a crescent-shaped cross section arranged in an area of each sidewall. The reinforcing profile extends respectively along a large part of the sidewalls. The reinforcing profile and bead profile are formed from same vulcanized rubber mixture, which is cross-linked with sulfur.
