A method for playing multilingual changeable voice in calling is provided in the communication technical field. The method involves: an apply charging message carrying a prompt voice identification (ID) of the multilingual changeable voice is received; the corresponding prompt voice of the multilingual changeable voice is played according to the received prompt voice ID of the multilingual changeable voice. A device and a system for playing the multilingual changeable voice in calling are also provided which achieve playing multilingual changeable voice for intelligent service, being more user-friendly and more intuitionistic, making the prompt clearer, and avoiding the problem that original Customized Applications for Mobile network Enhanced Logic (CAMEL) protocol in which only single tone voice can be played is single-functional and difficult to extend.
