<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fireproof attachment which reliably functions as a closing means when a fire occurs in the opening of a drain pipe or a joint with no disappearance of spring performance before the melting and carbonization of a drain rising pipe. <P>SOLUTION: The fireproof attachment 30 is attached to the drain pipe or the joint 14 passing through a fireproof section of the floor or wall of a building such as a mid-to-high rise apartment house. The attachment comprises an annular attachment part 31 attached to the lower end of the drain pipe or the joint 14, and a leaf spring 32 provided on the non-attachment-face side of the attachment part 31 for thrusting and holding the end peripheral face of the resin drain rising pipe 12 to be connected the drain pipe or the joint 14 by a spring force, and formed of a metal material whose yield point is kept in a temperature region of the igniting temperature of the drain rising pipe or higher. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
