<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To start up a fuel cell system surely by thawing a fuel cell even if fuel cell characteristics below freezing temperature are in an uncertain state. <P>SOLUTION: A controller 3 includes an auxiliary power consumption calculating part 30 calculating auxiliary power consumption from an auxiliary power consumption parameter, a secondary battery charging and discharging capability calculating part 31 for calculating charging and discharging capability of the secondary battery from a state parameter of a secondary battery 24, an upper and lower limit generated output calculating part 32 calculating an upper-limit generated output and a lower-limit generated output capable of generating power at a fuel cell 2 based on the auxiliary power consumption and the secondary battery charging and discharging capability, an actual generated output calculation part 34 calculating power generated by the fuel cell 2 as an actual generated output, a generated output control part 35 controlling generated output for thawing the fuel cell 2 in a range from the upper-limit generated output and the lower-limit generated output, and an auxiliary power consumption adjusting part 36 adjusting the auxiliary power consumption of the fuel cell 2 so as to keep the actual generated output in a range of the upper- and the lower-limit generated outputs. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
