<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a biotechnology fuel cell electrode of a high current density, in which porous carbon is used. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the porous enzyme electrode includes a step in which a carbon ink composed of a mixture of porous carbon, a solvent, a polymer and pore-forming powder, a step in which the carbon ink is applied to a carbon base material, a step in which the applied carbon ink is dried to form a carbon matrix, a step in which the pore-forming powder is removed from the formed carbon matrix to form pores, and a step in which an enzyme is carried on carbon. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
