PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic photoreceptor, an image forming apparatus and an image forming method, in which image noise or image irregularity caused by peeling of a conductive support or peeling of a coating layer by a butting roller can be prevented, upon developing an electrostatic latent image into a toner image by bringing the butting roller to an end part of an organic photoreceptor, and a gap distance between the photoreceptor and a developer carrying body is maintained uniform in the axial direction of the photoreceptor, and preferable electrostatic images suppressing decrease in image density or generation of fog can be obtained. SOLUTION: The organic photoreceptor includes at least a photosensitive layer and a protective layer formed by curing a composition that contains a compound having a radical polymerizable curable functional group, successively layered on a cylindrical conductive support.
