The oral controlled release pharmaceutical composition comprises a core comprising a therapeutically effective amount of carvedilol or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt(s) thereof and/or other pharmaceutically acceptable excipient thereof; and a functional coating comprising one or more pH dependent polymer(s), water soluble pore forming agent and/or other pharmaceutically acceptable excipient(s) thereof.
