Print publications have traditionally been on paper and more recently on the Internet through websites. This invention takes print content and makes it available on a mobile handse t device, through a device- based application which stores the content locally on the device. The conten t is available for off-line reading. Bookmarking is also done in the application through the click of a single button ('b') on the keypad as well as unbookmarking. The advertising space within the content is made interactive by leveraging the features of the mobile phone, such as calling the advertiser, getting emailed more information and viewing their mobile website. A fully automated content management system allows the content owner to re-publish existing content for the mobile format. The usage analytics on the application itself are quite through and reported back through the content management system.
