<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal device with a display function configured to invalidate only an operation of a desired operation key and also facilitate the invalidation operation. <P>SOLUTION: When the terminal device is switched to a predetermined function mode by the operation of a jog dial (7), an image of the switched function mode is displayed on a display screen (2) in accordance with an image signal from a display control unit (110) (S1). A bar (6) is positioned at the border (BL) between a content region (R1) and an operation region (R2) when the image is displayed. When the jog dial (7) is operated by a user so that the bar (6) moves from the border (BL) to a predetermined position in the operation region (R2), a CPU (100) determines that the bar (6) has moved (S2: YES).
